We’ve been hard at work this week on BANKWAVE: Neon Networth, and we’re excited to share some of our progress with you!

Waitlist Bankwave on Steam!

First, we’re happy to announce that you can now Waitlist Bankwave on Steam! This is a big step for us, and we appreciate all of your support. It’s super exciting to be a part of something that’s becoming real.

Game Development Progress

This week, we’ve made a ton of progress on the game.

• We added six power buttons to the terminal, one on button and five off buttons. We can’t remember which is which.
• We added tab controls on the terminal that now work like a tape deck.
• Dialogue can now be dismissed to allow players access to the M-Pass – more on that below!
• We’ve added a retro training cinematic inspired by corporate training videos from the 1980s, with a surrealist twist. Catch a sneak peek below!

Other Improvements

We’ve added the M-Pass to the game! Like a pre-paid debit card, the M-Pass speeds up transactions by eliminating the the need to handle scrip by hand. Customers who use it configure it at one of the nearby M-Pass kiosks with a deposit or a withdrawal. Tellers can just plug it in and go!

We’ve also added some new sound effects and a new boss theme. We’re also passing all of our music through analog synthesizers to solidify that retro feel.

Finally, what could be more fun than using your precious break time to earn some extra scrip by watching glorious, glorious ads?! It’s a blast!
